We've just delivered the images from our second shoot at the new Hilton Cabana Miami Beach.  Between  Christine and myself, we've photographed more than three dozen hotels in the first part of this year.  With the exception of two properties (for the same client),  we usually shoot alone.  We work to maintain a "company style" and shoot with the same equipment and techniques, but when we go to each property we tend to apply our individual stylistic twist to the final result.

One thing that made this property unique as a client is that they had a  large shot list with very little time to get the photography shot, processed and posted during both shoots.  Our solution for the client was to both fly to the property and shoot as a team.   This doubled the rate at with we could shoot and turnover the final photography.  We have photographed as a team in the past on larger shoots and it makes the whole shoot easier for the client as well as faster and generally more efficient.    This is especially helpful if the client is a busy executive, who isn't local to the property and is away from their office each day of the shoot.

On this property it was essential that we played well together to create images that spoke with a common voice, so we discussed our approach to the photography and retouching in depth and met at a property that was convenient to both of our homes in CT and NJ to spend a day making sure we were 100% aligned as we went into this project.
